How often should I have my windows professionally cleaned?
For most homeowners in the Hamilton area, we recommend an exterior cleaning twice a year (Spring and Fall) and a full interior cleaning at least once a year. Properties near busy roads or construction sites may require more frequent service to prevent debris buildup and glass etching.
Do I need to be home for the window cleaning service?
For exterior-only services, you do not need to be home as long as we have access to the perimeter of your property and gates are unlocked. For interior cleaning, someone over the age of 18 must be present to grant our technicians access.

Weather & Quality Assurance
What happens if it rains on my scheduled cleaning day?
Rain does not necessarily stop our work! We can clean windows in light rain as long as it is safe for our technicians. However, if there is heavy rain, high winds, or lightning, we will contact you to reschedule for the next available clear day.
Will rain make my clean windows dirty again?
Common misconception: Rain doesn't make windows dirty; dirt does. Dust, pollen, and residue on the glass turn into streaks when it rains. Because we remove that residue entirely, rain will typically bead off your clean windows without leaving spots.
What is your "Satisfaction Guarantee"?
We stand by our work. If you notice a streak or a missed spot, notify us within 24 hours, and we will return to fix it at no extra charge. Your satisfaction is our #1 priority.

Are you insured and WSIB compliant?
Yes. J & L Master Window Cleaning is fully insured with liability coverage, and all our technicians are covered by WSIB. We take safety seriously to protect both our team and your property.
How do you protect my flooring and furniture?
When working inside your home, our technicians use shoe covers (booties) and place drop cloths under windows. We treat your home with the same respect we would our own.
Can you clean windows on high-rise or commercial buildings?
Absolutely. We provide professional window cleaning for both residential homes and commercial/industrial buildings. Our team is trained in various ladder and reach-pole techniques to handle difficult-to-access glass safely.
